UCLA General Institutional Review Board (GIRB)

Research involving human subjects conducted by UCLA researchers that does not include a Biomedical Intervention is generally reviewed by either the NGIRB, SGIRB, or is certified Exempt. How do I decide whom to call?

Select the staff person responsible for the type of application, and the type of review (NGIRB, SGIRB, Exempt, or No human subjects contact).
Example: Questions about amendments to studies previously approved by the SGIRB should be directed to the SGIRB Coordinator.
