Human Research News v8, n3: OPRS Office Hours for Medical Investigators

On behalf of the Office for Protection of Research Subjects, I would like to introduce an exciting new pilot program: OPRS MIRB Office Hours.
Medical IRB (MIRB) Office Hours is service to UCLA’s medical research community to facilitate the IRB submission, review, and approval process. Office Hours will be on Mondays from Noon to 4PM, starting on Monday, October 27, 2008. The location will be in the Center for Health Sciences (CHS) Building, Room 14-214K.
Investigators and their research staffs are welcome to drop-in without appointment or make an appointment in advance to meet with an OPRS MIRB staff member. (Priority will be given to those who make an appointment by emailing mirb@oprs.ucla.edu.)
As a friendly reminder, MIRB OPRS staff are always available to assist investigators above and beyond MIRB Office Hours. Please contact the Administrator of the appropriate Medical IRB for guidance. The staff directory is available at http://www.oprs.ucla.edu/human/irbstaff.
